LDEQ is accepting public comments for a proposed Construction and Debris Landfill adjacent to the Natalbany River Floodplain. Tangipahoa Parish has determined the need for 4 C&D Landfills. There is a second C&D Landfill going through the permitting process 2.5 miles to the WSW of this proposed landfill.
