Enforcing Water Quality Standards and Regulations

Northshore Riverwatch tracks development, industrial, transportation, pipeline, and other projects seeking pollution permits to make sure these projects do not harm our local waterways, and do follow the proper regulatory processes, including adequate public commenting and participation. Northshore Riverwatch will educate the public, provide public participation opportunities, and submit technical comments on permits. In some cases, Northshore Riverwatch will challenge a permit in a legal action to ensure compliance with environmental laws.
